How would you repair a section of drywall with bubbled paint after fixing a leak in the roof?

So, we had a little issue with a leak in our roof last month, but it’s all good now. What would you suggest we do to fix the water damage? Should we just remove the bubbled paint and repaint it with some texture? Or do you think we might have to redo the drywall in that area?

Remove the bubbled paint carefully to avoid damaging the drywall. Use a ready mix spackle and apply multiple coats, letting each one dry before adding the next. Keep your layers smooth and flat. Lightly sand or use a wet sponge to even out the surface. Consider buying a can of orange peel texture for added texture. Practice on cardboard before applying the texture to your patch once it’s dry. Smooth out the new texture with a damp cloth or sponge after it dries. Finish off with two coats of paint.

I assume it’s just peeling paint and the drywall is probably fine. You’ll only know for sure once you start peeling it off.
