Remember to secure your conduit within 3 feet of any box, panel, or termination point for that conduit run. Simply run your conduit up from your panel or box, strap it within 3 feet of the panel, and then every 10 feet beyond that.
Yeah but you missed mentioning the box and end point for the conduit run. It’s an easy detail to overlook lol

Is the LB facing up so you can’t reach? Are there straps, just not every 3 feet as suggested? Is the box somehow floating??
Nah, just messing with you. Keep being yourself and you’ll work your way up to being an apprentice. There’s a handy book called the National Electric Code that might help you out… The handbook version even has some visuals.

I’ve never noticed gutters hanging down from the second floor like that. Must be in a northern area.
The gutters used to lead into a failed drainage system. The pipe that was abandoned is still under the downspouts on the pathway. If the drainpipe is blocked or faulty, the water would flow down next to the old foundation and seep into the basement. Putting a temporary fix over the walkway is just a quick solution until the owner can find the time or money to fix the drainage area.
I’d love to help, but there’s too much steel and I might end up cutting myself.

Why was the junction box necessary? An LL fitting would have been a cleaner option for a pull point and would also be easily accessible that way. It should be supported up to a maximum of 5 feet, but 3 is a good rule of thumb.

I noticed the downspout situation where the original drains were placed next to the house. In certain places, it’s not allowed for clean rainwater to enter the sewer system and go to the sewage treatment plant. This is because they don’t want to treat clean water and it also dilutes the sewage cleaning chemicals. The downside is that towns no longer receive free sewer line cleanings from nature, so clogs happen more frequently with less water, resulting in the need to pay for sewer sucking trucks.

Now that’s a David Copperfield special just hovering in mid air like that 😱
Are you kidding me?
Doesn’t it require straps every 3 feet?
Those are just ideas, nobody really follows it. It’s too much and a waste of beer cash.
Oogle and both preferred it that way. Some people are just lazy I guess.
🤷♂️
Every 9 feet by code and within 3 feet of box or point of connection
Nah
Nah
Can’t believe it’s just 3 feet! Where are you guys located?
Haha, that’s the code for you! 😆
The requirement is 10 feet for securing, but since most EMT sticks are 10 feet, you’ll often see them secured at 9 feet.
Double-check the code for pipe placement.
Make sure to keep the conduit 3 feet away from the panel, then every 10 feet after that.

I’ve never seen that kind of thing around here, maybe it’s just out west.
Has to be then haha
A bit unusual up here
California is ridiculous.
The gutters used to lead into a failed drainage system. The pipe that was abandoned is still under the downspouts on the pathway. Yeah I know what you mean. I work with molds for a living. Just never seen it done like that before.
Must be a southern thing.
Like I mentioned earlier, must be a trend common in the northern regions.
Classic wooden gutters integrated into the house with a copper lining. Have repaired a couple in properties constructed over 150 years ago.
Wow, iovanni Rados! Where is this?
Haha, 😂
Nah, I’m currently in California so it must be located somewhere out east.
Screw those drains
I’d love to help, but there’s too much steel and I might end up cutting myself.
