How should I finish the landing at the bottom of my stairs given the previous owner’s botched self-leveling job and the presence of an electrical penetration?

Hey guys! I need some help figuring out how to fix up the landing at the bottom of my stairs. When I moved in, the self-leveler that was poured there wasn’t done very well.

I’m thinking of just keeping it cement and maybe adding a colored epoxy over the top. Tiling seems like too much for such a small area, plus there’s an electrical penetration I’d have to work around.

Any suggestions or advice would be awesome. Thanks!
