How should I correctly plumb my new single basin workstation touch faucet and cup washer to replace my 70s cast iron dual basin drain sink, including materials needed and positioning of the vent valve?

Hey everyone, this is my first project here. I’m switching out a 1970s cast iron double basin sink with a stainless steel single basin workstation, touch faucet, and cup washer. The old setup also has a dishwasher drain connection. There’s a vent valve in the back right of the current sink setup. I’m just looking for some advice on how to properly plumb the new single drain and what materials I should get. Also, I’m wondering if the top of the vent needs to be higher than the bottom of the sink. I’ve included some pictures of what I currently have and what I’m planning to install. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Gotta replumb for a single drain. Double-check the measurements to ensure the new sink fits perfectly. If it’s a tad too big, cut it down to size. I installed the same sink in my kitchen, but had to adjust it for an integrated corian sink. It was a bit nerve-wracking, but my husband handled it like a pro. Also swapped out the faucet. No problems with the installation.

Just used a fresh blade with his jig saw.

Remember to tape it up before making the cut

Yeah, that’s a good observation
