How much movement is normal in a new construction home after two years?

How much should we expect the house to move after two years? Our home is new construction, exactly two years old. I noticed more movement than I anticipated when the baby crawled across a certain area. (Check out the video – sorry for the mess, baby just finished dinner)
Possibly due to humidity
Wondered about the swelling/contracting of the non-real hardwood because they reside in CA where humidity is typically lower 😆
Pointed out that it doesn’t necessarily have to be authentic wood since humidity is humidity.
‘t stress if it’s a floating floor.
Thank you!
I install floors every day and I’ve encountered much worse haha, it’s all good 👍🏼
Place a nail in the seal and paint over it
Mentioned that it’s not actual wood, and our house is built on a concrete slab.
Please avoid nailing it down, as it’s meant to be able to move. This type of flooring is designed to adjust to the heat and humidity in your home, so no worries at all
A floating floor is probably snug against a wall or improperly secured like over a floor vent. Floating floors expand and contract, so avoid nailing them down. Check for gaps under the baseboards.
If it’s hollow, drill a 2mm hole and fill it with self-leveling compound until it comes out. Clean up. Let it dry.
It’s all good if it’s a floating floor.
