How much did you end up saving by building the pergola yourself and what benefits did you find in running extension cords along the frame for your backyard project?

I was given a quote of $7500 to construct a pergola in my backyard, so I opted to build it myself instead. It turned out really nice! I’m planning on running extension cords along the frame this weekend to keep them out of the way.
I bet you managed to save a bit of money
Shout out to you for saving me a bunch of money!
How much was it
Was granted $1500 for materials
Got approval for the town hall event
Ygnacio Barinas, you represent what’s problematic in America.
Hey, based on your comment, it seems like you’re not from the USA. As homeowners, we need to follow city regulations. I had a similar experience where my project was rejected because I needed approval from the city hall.
Do you really think I enjoy it? I can’t stand it.
Ygnacio Barinas looks like one of your neighbors spilled the beans 😂
Ygnacio Barinas do you really need a permit if it’s not connected? Was yours connected?
Didn’t secure it down with Hilti and epoxy bolts at all
Finding it intriguing, mentioning that they didn’t verify again but believing that in Massachusetts, it’s acceptable as long as it’s not connected
Wow, this is really impressive!
Where did you find your materials? It turned out really nice! Great job!
Check out Amazon for the brackets, and get the lumber and hardware from Lowe’s
Hey, have you ever thought about making those for other people? They look fantastic! 😊
Big thanks to !
Hey, where did you find those materials?
I love this!
Hey, Justine La’Nae
Wow, that’s so awesome!!
Hey there, PepeToño!

I’ve been considering doing something similar. How did you secure the 1×6’s to the posts?
Mentioning they are 2×6 and explaining how they attached 2×4’s onto the 4×4 post with pocket holes before screwing the 2×6 onto them
Great work!
That looks awesome! How much money did you manage to save?
Earning $6,000
Wow, that’s really cool! 👍
How many hours have you put into it?
Fantastic! 🌟
I have some solar-powered lights for the outdoor area.
Wow, it turned out really well! Nice job!
I was thinking about doing that, but I ended up losing confidence and decided to just build a carport instead. Did you use any plans or guides?
Why are these trending at the moment?
Is that a toja?
I utilized the toja system to construct this for my parents. Still a work in progress, planning to install 4 track windows soon.

I did something similar, but I included two strings of solar lights with a remote and various settings!

I love the shade it offers.
I love the way it turned out!
You can find them for around $1800 at Home Depot, the identical one you put together
