How long did it take to complete your DIY bathroom renovation and what’s the final step before completion?

I just posted some before and after pics of my DIY bathroom project. I started working on it at the end of June and put in a ton of hours on evenings and weekends. I finally wrapped it up last night. The only task left is to drill holes in the boards above the toilet so I can add the floating shelf brackets.
It’s looking amazing!
What a beautiful change!
That is amazing! I’m still mustering up the confidence to begin revamping my bathroom.
On a Saturday morning, just needs to grab a hammer and sawzall and start working on it.
Wertz: I’m almost there haha. I have to replace my tub faucet, install an exhaust fan, and my shower head is hanging on a suction cup holder because I don’t have a pipe for it.
Yeah, it can be frustrating not being able to use a bathroom how you want. Those tasks become simple once you start doing them.
Oh really? Reminds me of myself. Band-aids until …
Awesome work! 👏
Wow, this is fantastic. You really nailed it.
Great job on this!
You did fantastic work, I really love the final result!
Wow, amazing job!
So beautiful!
Sweet!
I have the exact same green tile in my bathroom from top to bottom. I’m at a loss for what to do!
Let’s just rip it out
Wertz, I’m useless after that 😂 I can demolish it like a pro, but then I hit a roadblock!
I must say, your green tiles are so much nicer than my cheap, all-in-one beige bath/shower.
I wouldn’t necessarily say I agree with Lee. The caulk is all peeling and discolored, making it a real challenge to keep them looking clean with that coloring. They’re just a mess, haha.
That’s great! Did you think about adding a “window” in the toilet nook? Perhaps a stained glass or frosted glass with LED strips behind it.
I haven’t decided yet what we will do there, still thinking about it.
The project turned out fantastic, Wertz!
Great work! I absolutely adore it
The renovation is absolutely stunning.
It looks fantastic!
