We’re not quite done yet, but things are looking good! Just wanted to give you a quick update on the faux brick wall.
Next on the list: tackling the kitchen cabinets.
Wow, it’s instantly looking brighter!
I really LOVE this!
Wow, that looks really cool!!
I’ve always admired that panelling – such a budget-friendly solution for a variety of problems, and white brick just looks so good! Some people may underestimate it, but if you notch it like you did, the seams disappear. Excellent work!
Oh wow, did you use regular white paint for that? I’m thinking of doing the same thing in my mom’s living room, she already has brick like the one in your top picture. Any advice?
This is the product we applied. The initial coat dried with a yellowish hue. The second and third coats resulted in a smooth white enamel finish. We initially used rollers and brushes, but found it difficult to cover the porous areas. The final coat will be applied using a spray.
Thanks a lot. I was thinking we would need to get a paint sprayer for this. Good to have that information.
We decided to enclose a carport and ended up with a brick wall. After 30 years, we finally painted it white and it looks amazing! Why did we take so long? It required a lot of effort to scrub it down and paint, but it was definitely worth it.
