How do I strip and restain my kitchen table if I’ve never done it before, do I just need citristrip or what other supplies and steps do I need to follow?

So, I’m thinking about tackling the project of stripping and re-staining my kitchen table. I’ve never done anything like this before, so I’m a little lost. Should I just pick up some citristrip and call it a day? Or is there more to it? What supplies do I need and what’s the step-by-step process? I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with this whole thing! 😵💫
Can you provide some pictures of the table?

Start by sanding the wood until it’s bare. Then apply a new finish.
For veneer, I recommend using a chemical stripper followed by a light sanding with 320 grit. When working with solid wood, sanding is a quicker option. Start with 60 or 80 grit and gradually move up to around 220. Citrus Strip can be messy. Personally, I prefer GreenEz. QCS Stripwell is also a good alternative
When using a stripper, it’s best to work in small sections. Avoid the mistake of attempting to strip the entire table at once.
I tried out citristrip.. this is the result after 2 rounds.. looks almost identical to the beginning haha
