How do I start my first project by removing flooring and cleaning underneath, as well as cutting tiles around a toilet?

Taking out the toilet can help improve the appearance and ease of maintenance! Honestly, these tiles are prone to damage if they get wet, so I would suggest keeping the existing floor and giving it a thorough clean. I used these tiles on my porch and they worked well in that setting, but when I installed them in my basement, the corners started peeling up. They will look good, but might not last long.
Do I have to apply primer before painting the flooring?
