How do I remove the middle board in this picture to create a wider entrance?

Hey there, I’m hoping to widen the entrance in this picture by taking out the middle board. Could someone give me a hand with how to do this? I appreciate any guidance you can offer!

Put up a header. Tons of videos online for help. Google can guide you as well

Hey there! Just attach a 2x4x (height of your entrance) to the inside of each right and left post. Then add (2) 2×6 boards sistered together on top for your header.
