How difficult and costly would it be to level out one side of the sloped ceiling, relocate the AC unit, and install a larger window?

I hope this isn’t a silly question, but do you think it would be difficult or costly to adjust the ceiling so it doesn’t slope on one side?

And what do you think about moving the AC unit to the left corner and installing a larger window where the current one is?

The slope is due to the roof overhead, I think. If that’s the case, it’s not adjustable.

Are you suggesting we alter the roof structure or put up a wall from floor to ceiling?

Quite challenging in both aspects. Probably a truss roof. You’ll need a full reconstruction if that’s your goal. With sufficient funds, anything is possible. Is it feasible? Not really…

If we’re talking about the roof structure, it could cost tens of thousands!

I’m thinking, maybe add a dormer or two 🤔
