Have you seen my latest project? I transformed my plain staircase with a DIY board and batten treatment. It used to be so boring, but now it looks amazing!
That looks amazing, such a classic style.
I must say, that looks incredibly appetizing
I love the look, I’ve been considering doing something like that with my staircase
Hey , check out the entire process on my Instagram Mama_canbuildit. Let me know how yours comes out!
Oh nice, we also have the identical ones on our staircase!
Make a huge impact, right?
Absolutely. I really like the way different colors complement each other. As for picture frames, I believe you can still hang them even if they are larger than the designated space. Who says it’s against the rules of design?
I always say, do what you think is aesthetically pleasing. If you enjoy having frames up and it makes you happy, then go for it. After all, it’s your home! 💪🏻

Incredible transformation! It’s absolutely stunning!
Thank you.

The result is incredible! How did you go about choosing the starting and ending points for your squares? Did you start from the top and bottom and meet in the middle?
I designed it based on the ceiling height since that’s where the eye is naturally drawn to. Follow me on Instagram to check out the process. I saved everything in a highlight reel. Mama_canbuildit
I adore them!
How about trying this out? I’ve noticed that some folks opt for using upside down quarter round at the top of the baseboards to support the vertical pieces. It helps create a smoother shift from black to white.
Appreciate it. I’ve actually utilized that in the past, but I didn’t feel the need to use it for this particular project.
Wow, absolutely stunning!!!
Thank you so much.
Thank you, !
The two pictures trigger my ocd but the stairs look fantastic.
