How did you transform a worn out picnic table into a sturdy dining room table by adding heavy metal legs and a butcher block top?

So we took this old picnic table that was looking a bit tired and turned it into our new dining room table. The legs were still in great shape, made of heavy metal. All we had to do was pick up a butcher block to use as the top.
