How did you manage to find storage solutions in a small flat despite objections from others?

We have a tiny 3 bedroom apartment and desperately needed a place to store our youngest child’s toys! Everyone thought it wouldn’t work in this space, but I was determined to have it, so my husband and brother-in-law went ahead and did it anyway! I’m happy with how it turned out, even though I know the floor slopes a bit badly.
