How did you and your husband manage to renovate your grandparents’ house from the 70s all by yourselves, and what inspired you to take on such a challenging project?

My husband and I ended up buying out my brother so we could get my grandparents’ house from the 70s. It needed a lot of work since it was all original, but we managed to remodel it ourselves with the help of some online groups and YouTube tutorials. It took us a whole year, but I’m really proud of how it turned out. It may not be perfect, but it’s perfect for us, and now my son and daughter-in-law are going to buy it from us. Just a few finishing touches left to do, and then we’re done! ❤️
Reat work on this, you’ve put in a lot of effort! The only thing I noticed are these lights – I think they might be upside down.
Yeah, we actually turned them that way to make sure we had enough space to finish the ceiling. We forgot to turn them back before taking the picture.
