How can we conceal the gap in our countertop after installing a new cooktop?

We just got a new cooktop installed. Any ideas on how to cover up the gap in our countertop?
Something similar to this
Consider getting silicone gap guards designed for the stove and countertop. You can trim them down on one side if needed.
I agree about the gap covers, but it seems like the stove isn’t positioned correctly. One side is pushed back further than the other. Maybe we can straighten that out.
Take a closer look at what could be causing the issue. It might just need a simple adjustment.
You can have custom stainless steel appliance trim made to fill the gap
I purchased a trim piece from Micro Trim for my new cooktop. The original one was too small, so we had to reinforce it and the trim. It turned out really nice. You may have to add extra support on that end.
Larger spice containers
There are trim options available for the sides of the cooktop, including surrounding trim. Recently, even budget-friendly rubber trim rolls have been introduced in the last couple of years.
When I had to replace an old hexagonal cooktop, I made an engineering drawing with precise measurements and tolerance for a stainless steel sheet. Eventually found a shop that could CNC cut it, but had to shop around for a good deal.
Consider getting black silicon gap trim from Amazon.
Does this
Simplifies the cleaning process. I appreciate that
Check with the manufacturer to see if they offer trim kits for that specific cooktop model.
I’m in accordance with Chris and Amanda. It seems like you could potentially push upwards and backwards simultaneously to close the gap, unless there’s something obstructing it from moving backward.
Feel free to reach out to the installer to inquire about it.
You have the option of using stainless steel thin strips (similar to pencil rail) and aligning them with the edges. That’s what we did with our stainless steel hood.
