I feel the same way! I’m on board!
These exterior doors aren’t made to withstand heavy rain. Even with some overhang, the wind can push rainwater under 8-foot-long porches. The door materials are all soft pine wood that rots easily. We have plenty of PVC trim pieces that could work. However, the door frame and threshold should be PVC to prevent water from seeping in.
