How can I transform my basement dungeon room into something more inviting after tackling my first plumbing project?

I’ve been procrastinating on this project for a while now. It’s my first time tackling plumbing like this, but I finally cut out the old well head and poured over it. I also connected the floor drain to the sump and poured that as well. Using Herculiner for the floor made the process pretty straightforward. There are still a few small things I need to do, but I’m excited to transform my basement dungeon room into something completely different. I’d love to hear any feedback or suggestions on my work!
The appearance is quite nice and neat. When are you coming over to do mine?
It came out great! Such a big improvement!
Thanks a lot, !
That’s awesome! You could also consider painting the walls white with a quality masonry sealer to make it even brighter. It seems like there is enough space for a large metal storage rack as well.
Hey , I really appreciate this. I meant to mention it earlier because it could make a big difference. The area where the ceiling is lower is actually a flowerbed. During heavy rain, the vertical section tends to sweat a bit. I wasn’t sure if that might cause a problem with the paint or if it’s supposed to happen. The ceiling in the shorter section is fine, it’s just the vertical block that’s an issue.
Hey , if it’s only slightly damp and not completely soaked and dripping, then yeah, that’s what the paint is designed for. It might even help prevent that.
Looks amazing!!
