How can I seamlessly transition between different flooring levels in my early 1900s home with multiple additions?

So, I recently got this early 1900’s house that has had a few additions over the years. I’ve noticed that the flooring is a bit wonky from room to room – like, one doorway has a 3/4” rise from vinyl tile to laminate flooring, and the other doorway has a 1” drop. Any ideas on how I should tackle transitioning each doorway?

I’m not a fan of having different floors in the house, so I would definitely consider replacing them. Based on what you already have, it seems like you could easily buy some oak boards and install them inside the door frames.
