Any suggestions on how to fill or cover up the space between the top of the bathtub and the wall in the bathroom? We recently removed some old wallpaper and now there’s this gap that we didn’t notice before.
Try using some backer rod and caulk, or you could also opt for spray foam followed by trimming and caulking.

I’ve applied that gap filler foam, let it dry, trimmed off the excess, and then applied mud, tape, more mud, and sanded it. The mud will adhere and hold up well.

Fill the bag with mud, then tape it flat. Next, sand it down, prime the surface, and finish with a coat of paint.

It’s damaged. Remove it and install backer board. Fill it, tape, seal, add a backsplash, and caulk. You can’t have drywall near a tub. It needs to be waterproof like a shower enclosure.
