How can I safely remove the old phone line hanging outside my mobile home that has been there for two years?

Hey, I need to figure out how to get rid of this old phone line hanging outside my mobile home. It’s been there for about two years in the dead grass. Any ideas on how to do it safely?
Just snip the wires – they were low voltage and are now completely inactive.
Make sure there’s absolutely no current that could harm you. If you’re concerned that mistakes may have been made, grab a wire tester from Harbor Freight for around $6. Remember, there should be no current at all, but it’s always better to be cautious.
O ahead and snip the black one and bury it. Trim away all the other parts and get rid of the equipment and wires.
It’s a low voltage, around 24 volts. Just make sure to cut each wire individually and use a wire nut on them. You’ll be fine.
