How can I safely remove rock-hard glue from concrete without damaging its pristine condition?

Hey there! So, I’ve been working on removing those small brown laundry tiles from the 1970s/80s, and we really want to keep the concrete underneath in great shape because it’s in fantastic condition. The only issue is that there’s still some stubborn glue left on the floor. Normally, we would just use a razor to scrape it off, but we’re worried about damaging the concrete since it’s in such good condition. Any ideas on how to tackle this super hard glue? Would love to hear your thoughts.

When tiles measure 9×9, they typically contain asbestos, especially if the adhesive is black and known as mastic. I work as a general contractor and enjoy providing guidance to help others save money. Can you confirm these details before I suggest any safe methods?
If you’re not sure about asbestos, this product is a safe bet. Hiring an asbestos abatement company can cost you an arm and a leg, not to mention your firstborn child.
