How can I safely remove dried glue and stains from my antique secretary without causing further damage, and what should I use to secure loose glass temporarily?

Hey, so I recently got this beautiful antique secretary desk that needs some TLC. I plan on refinishing it completely down the line, but for now, I’m looking for a way to remove some dried glue and stains without causing more damage.
Also, the sealant between the glass panels is pretty much gone, and the glass is loose and making noise. Any ideas on what I can use as a temporary fix? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
