How can I safely remove bathtub jets and repair the resulting holes?

Do you know if it’s possible to take out the bathtub jets and fill in the holes?
Considering the time and effort required, it might be more practical to just replace the tub. Also, if you try patching it up, the repairs might be visible and make it look awful.
No way.
In case the tub is made of fiberglass, you can use orilla hair to fill, sand, smooth, and then reglaze it.
Unfortunately, you can’t do that. You do have the option to purchase marine ‘bulkhead fittings’ that can plug up the holes, but you’ll need access to both sides for the threaded nut to work properly.
You could try patching it up similar to how you would fix a dinged surfboard!
Well, maybe yes and maybe no. One option could be to cut out and patch the holes and then get it re-glassed, but you have to consider the cost versus the result. Personally, I think it might be easier to just remove it and replace it with something new, like a shower/tub.
