How can I revitalize my sun-worn cedar gazebo – would sanding and staining be the best approach, or is there a better solution?

I’ve got this great cedar gazebo, but it’s looking a little weathered from all the sun exposure. Any ideas on how to spruce it up? I was thinking of sanding it down and applying either a stain or clear coat. Any thoughts on that?
Applying stain will really make it pop. But honestly, it doesn’t look bad as it is, in my opinion.

Try using a deck brightener first, then scrub with a brush on a pole. Follow up with a power washer to get rid of any loose fibers. Finally, apply CWF UV Cedartone stain for fences and decks. Our fence was in a similar condition to your building. I did this three years ago and it still looks great.

Mine was also redone, with a fresh coat of paint and white trim. Looks much better now.
