How can I repair cracks and gaps in my fireplace stone without redoing it, and what stone treatments will enhance its color and brightness?

Hey, I’m in need of some advice on how to fill in the cracks and gaps in my fireplace stone without having to start from scratch. Any suggestions on treatments that could help brighten it up and enhance the color? Thanks in advance!
I suggest using mortar grout or caulking. Or maybe concrete mortar grout – test it on something before applying to ensure it matches the color.

Try to determine which type of mortar was used – all the boxes have pictures of the cold. Clean the entire area and then use a stone shine on top. Just a couple of quick oogle options there.

I’d suggest going for something like this. Maybe consider getting a primer for areas where you’ll be applying mortar to ensure it sticks well and doesn’t crack. You can find the shiny part at Home Depot or Lowe’s. The picture will be in the comments shortly after this reply.

Either for cleaning or for adding shine
