How can I repair a rotted bathroom door frame at the base without replacing the entire frame in a cost-effective way?

Hey there! So, I recently got this new apartment and I noticed that the bathroom door frame is a bit rotted at the bottom where it meets the floor. I think it’s made of solid wood. Any ideas on how to fix this? I’m looking for an easy and budget-friendly way to patch up the bottom of the door frame without having to replace the whole thing. Appreciate any tips you can share!
You can find Bondo brand wood filler at a paint store. Clean the area, get rid of any loose material, apply the filler, sand it down, and paint over it. It’s waterproof and can last for years.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
The marine grade bondo is designed to be compatible with paint, unlike the regular version.
For decaying wood, a product similar to this could be effective.
