It’s hard to see what’s happening there but connect to the existing ground that I think I spot there. et ready for all the doomsday comments on insurance, code, etc… but what do I know, this is all 110v in the states since I live in East Asia.

Well you’ve got a metal box over there and should connect it to the ground wires. Put in a 20 amp outlet on the other side that’s a 20 amp FCI
