How can I prevent paint or stain from seeping through lattice onto my neighbor’s side of the fence?

Hey there! I was just curious if you have any tips on painting or staining lattice without it seeping through to the other side of the fence. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much! 🤗
Spray it
Might as well paint both sides because they will see it anyway. The lattice edges will be visible.
Use a dry roller and roll slowly to achieve the desired effect.
Grab a sheet, spray it, and make sure to cover both sides.
