How can I prevent direct contact between new deck stringers and the concrete ground during a rebuild?

I’m about to tackle fixing my deck steps that are falling apart. Do you know of a way to stop the new steps from touching the concrete or ground directly? Got any ideas?
Obtain or create pressure treated stringers.
Install a concrete slab, post, or even a patio block on top of some gravel beneath each stringer, then elevate the wood with a composite spacer as shown below.
Without a doubt, Simpson has a connector that will serve your needs perfectly.
Pick up some 4 inch by 8 inch by 16 inch blocks at Lowes or another reliable home improvement store. Place one or two layers underneath the boards that you attach to the bottom of the stringers. Deck treated wood is mainly meant for use above ground. The posts are probably the only ones suitable for ground contact.
