How can I keep retrofit recessed lights in place when the can is too narrow and the springs have nothing to grip onto?

Hey, does anyone have any ideas on how to keep these retrofit recessed lights in place? I tried putting them in the can, but it was too small and they keep popping out. I took out the can, and now there’s nothing for the springs to latch onto. They just keep falling out of the hole.
Those won’t be compatible with that container
These fixtures are not suitable for that can.
Take a look at the box the new lights were packaged in, there should be a different bracket that you can replace.
They have compression clips available that can be used to adjust your trim. You can find them at Home Depot.
