How can I improve the exterior of my house to match the beautiful interior transformation, while keeping the grey vinyl siding?

We moved to this house a while back and downsized. The inside has been completely redone, which I adore, but the outside could use some help. We have to keep the grey vinyl, but I’m open to suggestions on how to spruce up the exterior. I did plant some boxwoods along the front path, even though they’re not shown in the pictures. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! š
I absolutely love it.
Hey , just wanted to say thank you!
I suggest adding a darker color over the porch peak to make it stand out, and then using that same color on the garage doors or around them to add some depth. Other than that, it’s truly lovely.
Hey , that’s a great idea! I was actually thinking about darkening the posts a bit too! Thanks!
Hey , yeah, that would definitely look great!
It’s a really classic craftsman style. What specifically don’t you like about it?
Thank you. I personally find it a bit plain. I used to live in a family dream home that was entirely made of stone and had so much character. Maybe it’s just because this is a completely different style. š
Craftsman homes really do have a unique look. Many of them are more vibrant in color than yours. It’s a shame that the tan/gray siding has to remain, as a different color might make the stone stand out more. Do both types of siding, the horizontal and the shakes on the triangle above the porch, need to stay as they are?
I think that bright white columns and trim would make a big difference. A dark green or burgundy garage door and coordinating front door would add a classic touch and enhance the house’s curb appeal.
It looks beautiful as it is, but if you’re thinking of making changes, maybe consider painting the front door a more eye-catching shade of blue. You could match the porch railing and decorative trim on the porch peak to create a cohesive look. Not too bold, just something elegant and lovely.
Thank you for the great ideas!
I’m a little confused. What bothers you about this? It could benefit from some landscaping, but it’s actually quite charming.
Thanks a bunch!
Appreciate it!
That house is stunning. Have you thought about adding a forest green Craftsman door, pillars, and garage door? The steps and porch would complete the look. š¤© Impressive!
That’s an interesting idea, . We hadn’t considered that before. Thanks!

It has an alluring quality.
Extremely lovely
Wait, really? That’s cute!
Hey , just wanted to say thank you!
I adore the house, just needs some landscaping.
Sandy Wilkinson Mcahey thanks a million! We did the front of the pathway and around towards that tree on the right. It really softens the look of the house and adds more character. I just didn’t have a picture of that, too lazy to go outside and take one lol!
Consider painting the trim, doors, and garage the same color as the roof.
It’s great
Lovely home
Soffit lighting is a great way to add security, interest, and curb appeal. Choosing a subtle color can enhance and accentuate.
