How can I fix cracked windows and water damage caused by shifting in my bottom-level condo unit?

I have to re-chalk my windows every year because they always crack. I think it’s because our condo has shifted, and now I’ve noticed some water damage on the top. We live on the bottom floor of a 3-story garden style condo complex. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this?

Reach out to your Condo board for assistance. There are likely others facing the same issue. Best of luck.

You should have management take a look at it. It’s not your responsibility to fix things in a condo.

The issue on the exterior is also a problem for the condo. Make sure to address this leak.

If you give the president of the board a call, ask them to inspect the issue and hire someone to fix it. Remember, you’re only responsible for the paint job.

Hey guys, don’t forget about the inside of the window! Clean it up and add some caulk. There may have been condensation causing water to drip down to the bottom ledge.
