How can I fix a wobbly and leaking Smeg kitchen sink tap that was just installed by a plumber?

Hey, so I just had a plumber over to install my new kitchen sink, and now the tap is all wobbly and leaking. The plumber thinks it’s the tap itself that’s the issue – anyone have any ideas on how I can fix it? It’s a Smeg tap, so I assumed it would be good quality.
Do you have a video?
Maybe the issue is just that the nut under the faucet at the bottom of the sink needs to be tightened
Johnny riffith noticed that a loose nut underneath could cause wobbling issues. Each faucet contains stems and seats, and if they deteriorate, water may leak into unwanted areas.
Well obviously that’s why I requested a video so I could understand what’s happening 😂 there’s a Moen faucet that we have which uses the bottom nut to secure the stem and if it’s not tight, the stem will leak, some faucets work like that too
Oh man that water might be coming from a loose aerator and dripping down the faucet neck for all we know
Johnny mentioned something about the nut..
Seems like you could use a more reliable plumber. Did it have that wobble before you reached out to him?
It wasn’t put in before this
Liz oulding oh, so you definitely need to find someone else
I’m relieved he did that before starting my bathroom renovation
Liz oulding oh no, I wouldn’t let him come back
B. It’s not secure
Of course, he acted like everything was fine
Liz oulding hey, sorry. You don’t look okay. Did you purchase it, I assume. Can you try to return it? It appears to be leaking at a joint from the factory.
Time to look for a different plumber. Even if it’s the faucet causing the issue, keeping it in that condition is harsh.
Plumber? Certified on YouTube. Stem is dripping, it might be more cost-effective to just purchase a new one by now. That particular faucet is under 45 bucks at home Depot.
C. Appears that one or more o rings need to be replaced
A. Stop moving it around like that
I think it’s not good that 1000% of spout o rings are bad

I don’t think this is a delta, but you’ll need to figure out what type of faucet it is. Most likely, you’ll need to remove the cartridge to identify it and get the correct spout o rings.
Simply replace the faucet with a new one and return the old one
The lower steam seems to be loose. Let’s tighten the nut.
