How can I enhance my front porch with white brick and wooden columns?

Got any ideas for the front porch and columns? I’m thinking about painting the brick white and adding some wood columns. What do you think?
I think I’d prefer to go with a darker shade, rather than lighter.
White brick with white railing and white shutters along with window boxes. Cedar columns would look really beautiful!
