How can I efficiently remove glue from my shower seat and clean up the shower pan without exceeding my budget?

Hey there! We had to remove a triangular “seat” in our shower and now I’m having trouble getting rid of the glue left behind. I’ve tried scraping, but it’s not working. I’m hoping to just replace the grout instead of redoing the whole shower since I’m on a budget. Any advice on how to tackle this glue and clean up the shower pan? Thanks!
Perhaps using a solvent could help soften it for easier scraping. If not, consider sanding it down and applying epoxy to the entire surface.
What type of scraper did you end up using? I recommend a sharp exterior paint scraper. It might require some elbow grease but it should remove the paint efficiently.
I apologize for the sideways picture. I initially thought it was hanging on the wall. Best of luck.
You could give denatured alcohol a try
A new razor scraper with a fresh blade. Just watch out, the sharp edges of the blade can scrape the surface (or better yet, use a file to smooth out those edges a little). Solvent won’t remove that hardened glue.
