Hey, do you know the most effective and simplest method for cleaning this grout? Thanks!
I sprayed some ozyclean tile cleaner and let it sit for a minute then used a toothbrush
Oh, how about using an old brush with the oxy spray
Use a stiff brush with Zep
I also recommend zep – it works wonders!
You should give an awesome scrub with a brush from the dollar store a try
Mix hydrogen peroxide with water
Try using an oscillating tool with a grout blade to grind down and regrout – it’s a fairly simple process.
Toilet bowl cleaner
Have you heard about the scrub attachment for drills? I’ve been searching for a good cleaner to recommend but haven’t found one I really like yet
Consider using Clorox toilet bowl cleaner, similar to a bleach pen but in larger quantities. Let it sit for as long as possible, even hours.
An old toothbrush and some patience should do the trick.
Try using a mix of peroxide and baking soda for cleaning
A toothbrush with a combination of borax and javex can be effective
Give your item a gentle cleaning by using a mixture of dawn, vinegar, and scrubbing it with a toothbrush
Use The Works toilet bowl cleaner with a toothbrush
Try using vinegar and baking soda for cleaning purposes
Mix peroxide and baking soda to create a paste, then scrub with a brush

Avoid using toilet bowl cleaner, it’s not the best choice!
Why is that?
It can actually damage the grout. It caused some damage to mine, but we were planning on replacing it anyway.
Oh, that’s good to be aware of. Thanks!
Clean the toilet bowl
You’ll be surprised at how well a wire brush attached to a drill can work wonders!
Mix borax, white vinegar, and baking soda together until it forms a paste.
Hey , are you saying we should use equal parts of all three ingredients?
Hey , you’re totally fine to apply it and let it sit for a bit to loosen the dirt before using a wet brush to scrub.
Investing in this will definitely make cleaning a breeze!

Grab a spray bottle and combine equal parts vinegar and original Dawn dish soap. Spritz the mixture on the grout, let it sit for a few hours, then spray again before scrubbing and rinsing. It’s a simple and incredibly effective solution.
I agree, zep is fantastic!
Have you tried Zep grout cleaner? It works wonders!
I used Clorox Clean Up and a stiff brush on the grout in our old house. In the photo, the left side is cleaned and the right side is still untouched. I experimented with a peroxide/baking soda mixture to compare, but it didn’t work as well and left behind a lot of baking soda residue that needed frequent wiping.
I decided to try out a scrubber attachment on my drill for cleaning. I believe I used soap and water for the job.
I really recommend the Zep grout and tile cleaner that comes with a scrub brush. It works wonders!
For ceramic or porcelain surfaces, I recommend the Zep brand grout cleaner. It’s widely available at home improvement stores.
You don’t have to scrub too hard. Simply apply the product, let it sit for a bit, lightly scrub with a brush, and then rinse it off.
I totally agree with . The acidic toilet cleaner they offer is really effective, even when clr and bleach couldn’t remove our stains.
Zep grout cleaner or Tilex with bleach has worked well for me in the past.
I usually use Krud Cutter or Clorox combined with Tilex for cleaning.
