How can I effectively remove the excess dry plaster/caulk material from my walls and windows that is driving me nuts – would sandpaper or a sander work best?

Hey, do you have any ideas on how I could remove this excess dry plaster or caulk stuff on my walls and windows? I’m not exactly sure what it is, but it’s everywhere and it’s really starting to bug me. Do you think sandpaper or a sander might help get rid of it? Thanks for any advice you can give!

Carefully use a utility knife in a flat manner like a scraper to remove most of the trim. An electrical trim plate is also effective, especially for tubs. Sandpaper can help keep it smooth and flat.

Start with scraping followed by sanding.
