Most of the caulking should come off easily. If you plan on re-caulking, it doesn’t have to be perfectly clean. But if you need it spotless, you can use a wire brush, mineral spirits, a 2″ scraper, and some elbow grease.

Is the joint or the dirt in the middle of the paver? To clean the spot, you can use lacquer thinner along with a brass scrub brush.
Make sure to have an old 20-inch knife or a piece of sheet metal between the scraper blade and the paver when using ‘ oscillating tool with a full blade to avoid scratching the surface.

Hmm, I wonder why there is caulking next to the pavers. To remove it, you can use an “OLFA H-1” knife and lubricate it with dish soap for smoother cutting. Alternatively, apply 75 pounds of pressure on the blade.
You can use a caulk removal tool to get rid of the excess caulking, then use a plastic razor blade and scrubbing pad for cleaning.
It’s surprising to see someone post on without demonstrating any critical thinking skills.
