How can I creatively decorate my laundry room without a door to accommodate large washing machine and dryer?

Hey, can you help me out with interior decorating? I’m struggling with my laundry room because the door had to come off to fit in the washing machine and dryer. I was thinking of using a curtain to cover the opening, but I’m not sure how to make it look nice. The washing machine is a top loader and the dryer is a front loader, so I can’t replace them. Any ideas on how to make it work and improve the look of the room?
I think it would be better to use 4 narrower does so they don’t stick out so much into the hall.
I’m in the same situation. We also had beautiful solid wood bifold doors, but our washer and dryer stuck out too much. I really don’t like barn doors, but that’s what everyone suggests. For now, we’re just dealing with it. Ours is in the kitchen, across from the island. I’d share a picture, but there’s unfolded laundry on them at the moment. Haha.
E Walker Lambert that’s just something we all do, right? We all have that one spot where things end up until we have time to deal with them.
Have you considered using a barn door? It could help clear the trim

I’d personally just install cabinets wall to wall above the set. It would look fantastic. Just leave it open and the cabinets will really tie everything together.
Sliding barn door that’s mounted on the outside
Even if you have a barn door, you might still only be able to have one side open unless you have a really big sliding door there. And then you’d have to make sure there’s enough wall space for the door to slide over when you want to do laundry. I don’t think a curtain would solve the issue because it would still stick out. I agree with what someone else mentioned about adding cabinets above to create more of a ‘space’, maybe painting it or adding wallpaper for a pop of color, and just leaving it open to make the most of it!
You could totally put up wallpaper on that interior wall with a pattern like this. I’ve actually used this one before and really liked how it turned out.
What about installing a barn door? It wouldn’t interfere with the washer or dryer and could be concealed!
A curtain, perhaps?
