Do you know the best way to handle the curved edge of this step? Just so you know, there’s concrete underneath. I’m considering different flooring options, but I’d prefer to match the kitchen when we eventually renovate it. Should I go with hardwood or luxury vinyl for the steps?
You’d have to get a custom transition or bull nose, which could be tricky and costly. If you’re planning on redoing both levels of flooring, I recommend squaring off the step frame and then using standard materials to finish it off.
