Have I finally perfected my butcherblock countertops with the darker finish, will they eventually grow on me?

Hey everyone! It’s me, the butcherblock girl! I finally got them looking the way I wanted. They’re a little dark, but I’m hoping they’ll grow on me. Thanks for all your help!

What did you utilize?
I applied a Minwax stain called Provinical, mixing it with an oil from the Milk Paint company known as half and half, which is a tung oil citrus blend. I then used a wood conditioner after sanding with a 220 grit paper. I used 1/4 cup of the half and half and 1 tablespoon of the stain, mixed them, and repeated the process using 2 tablespoons after the first coat dried.
Thank you. Used Walnut minwax with Waterlox for sealing.
