Has anyone successfully spray painted powder coated black metal with chrome paint before, or is it a bad idea?

Hey there! I’m really loving this vanity and was thinking about spray painting the black powder coated metal with chrome spray paint. Has anyone tried this before? Any advice on whether it’s a good idea or not? Thanks so much in advance!
The outcome will be shiny, but it won’t look like chrome plating. rab a scrap piece of metal and give it a test spray before painting the furniture.
