Does the orientation of OSB roof sheathing matter, especially when the old sheets have specific instructions and the new sheets have a coated, printed side without clear indicators?

Hey, quick question – do you think it makes a difference which side goes up for OSB roof sheathing? The old stuff on my shed has instructions for the correct side and even fancy cut and nail lines. But the new sheets I got from Lowes only have printing on one side, which looks like a grade stamp but doesn’t specify which side should face up. The printed side does feel like it might be coated with something, it’s kind of slick and smoother. Just trying to make sure I get it right for my lean-to on the side of the shed.

Make sure the rough side is facing up for better traction while working on the roof.
