Do you think the bathroom fan issue could be related to the recent roof reshingling, or is it just a coincidence in timing?

Hey, so one of my tenants sent me a video of the bathroom fan acting up, and they said it started right after the roof was reshingled. Kind of weird timing, right? I’m heading over to check it out, but wanted to get some thoughts from you guys first. Any ideas on what the problem might be? Maybe a new fan or just a loose bolt? Appreciate any advice you’ve got! Thanks! 😅

First, remove the trim. Then take out the motor. Check the top for a dent that might be causing it to hit the fan blades. They might have accidentally dropped something.

Dave Burns mentioned the dented box. Good observation.

Maybe as David suggested, or perhaps the fan mount could have been accidentally knocked loose.
