Did you have any major issues during your master bath remodel, such as poorly done tile work, leaks, or outdated electrical?

I recently completed a remodel on my master bathroom this winter. The bathroom had actually been remodeled about 8-9 years ago by the previous owner, but the tile job, especially in the shower, was really poorly done. The tile bench in the shower sloped towards the glass, and the shower pan was installed incorrectly, causing leaks in the crawl space. The jet tub was also not up to par. I ended up tearing everything out to the studs and replacing it all, including the electrical, which was in terrible shape, the subfloor, and the plumbing. The picture of the terrible electrical I found when I removed the drywall, is not something I installed, and it was all replaced and brought up to code.
So impressive!
Gorgeous
So, how much time did you spend on this project?
Mentioned that he’s been working for about 3.5 months, fitting it around his work schedule.
Wow, I am so impressed by this transformation! It’s absolutely stunning!
Really great!
Wow, that’s amazing! I absolutely adore the wall tile that resembles wood! Where did you find it?
Not sure. My wife is the one with the eye for design, I just handle the construction
Any reputable store specializing in flooring and tile should carry it…mine resembles a woven basket
Hey , that sounds like a great situation 👌😁
So lovely!
Can you tell me the size of this room?
Couldn’t recall the exact measurements off the top of his head, but the shower is 48″x60″ for some perspective.
Lovely job!
Hey, I would have approached a few things differently, but overall, you did great! Your wife really has a great eye for design. Great job, both of you!

Congratulations on getting hired! I wish you could come and work on mine too 🎉🎉👏👏👏👏👏👏
Wow, this bathroom appears to be the size of my living room. It’s fantastic!
Great job on this!
Oh, that’s nice. Do you know which type of stone was used for the vanity?
Specializes in Brazilian quartzite

Hey, great job on that shower, it looks amazing! Well done!
Wow, that’s really impressive! So stunning
The shower looks fantastic, what kind of valve did you install?
Fantastic job!
Wow, amazing work!
Oh my goodness! Such a big change!
The finished product looks great! I really hope you didn’t cover those spliced wires like the last person did. That would definitely be a big mistake.
Hey , did you get a chance to finish reading?
Hey Marcin, got it. I only saw one picture of the electrical work, wasn’t sure if it was the beginning or the final result.
Left a comment on that electrical picture.
Hey Marcin, just a heads up – try not to post if you’re not open to similar or duplicate questions. It happens!
Wow, it looks fantastic! Thumbs up! I thought it looked good before too.
Said it wasn’t great. The shower was too small, and jetted tubs kind of gross him out. The shoddy work on the tile/shower forced them to do a full tear out. It was their final major remodel in the house, so he’s relieved it’s finished.
That was an amazing bath! You all did an awesome job!
I am very impressed! Just curious, how much time did it take you from beginning to end?
3.5 months
I heard thought the entire project was terrible 😉
Did you go with Kerdi board or the membrane?
It’s looking pretty good.
Hey , don’t forget about the membrane
Incredible! That must have been quite a project… and the outcome is stunning! Great job!!
