Did you convert your basement into living space with DIY skills over 5 months, or did you have professional help along the way?

Hey, thanks for adding me! I love checking out other people’s DIY projects. I thought I’d share mine from last year. We completely demoed our basement and turned our garage into a living space. It was a lot of work – new framing, electrical, gas, plumbing, you name it. Mostly me and my partner doing the work, but we had some friends help out here and there. It took us about five months of working on it in our spare time.
