Did the homeowner successfully install and wire the ceiling fan for constant power himself?

When the homeowner gives you a ring (yep, he made the call himself) and mentions that the ceiling fan has a steady power supply.
If you squint your eyes really hard, it appears quite nice
Could use a bit of rewiring
