Did anyone install new floors before removing old cabinets to check for damage or potential regrets?

Has anyone put in new floors without taking out the old cabinets first? Just checking to see if there were any issues or second thoughts about doing it that way.
Putting in the flooring before installing the cabinets
Are you renovating a kitchen? It might not be the best idea to risk damaging a new floor. Plus, there’s a chance the new cabinets won’t fit perfectly if they’re different from the old ones.
I might just switch out the floor haha.
Are you considering changing the floor but keeping the cabinets?
Are you suggesting I lay down new flooring prior to taking out the existing cabinets?
I still agree with ’s points. 1) Starting with the floors can lead to damage during the demo. 2) New cabinets may not align with the old ones, causing floor mismatch.
We decided to update our floors 2 years prior to renovating the kitchen. We held onto extra boxes of laminate square tiles for future use. They were easy to align and fill in any gaps, and we didn’t have to worry about grout or cracks since they weren’t real tiles. But if you’re doing both at once, start by removing the cabinets.
Nope, we’re not planning on replacing the cabinets anytime soon. We’re eager to upgrade our floors since the current linoleum is in bad shape 🤢
Hardwood floors can be tricky when reinstalling the dishwasher. If it’s too snug against it, it’ll be a challenge to remove.
Let’s demo everything at once. Start with the cabinets and finish with the floors.
